Ventilation louvres, also known as air intake louvres or air exhaust louvres, are components used in building ventilation systems to control the flow of air. They are designed to allow fresh air to enter a building or room while preventing the entry of rain, debris, and other unwanted elements.
Our ventilation louvre systems support the principles of good building ventilation and airtightness, as outlined by the Australian Government’s YourHome guide. Proper ventilation — natural or mechanical — is essential for healthy indoor air quality and energy-efficient buildings.
ADA Louvres designs and manufactures high-quality ventilation louvres, engineered for plant rooms, mechanical ventilation, and architectural screening applications.
Our range includes single-stage, weather-resistant, and vertical blade louvre systems, offering the right balance of airflow, rain control, and visual screening for commercial and industrial projects.
All systems are custom-made in Adelaide using premium aluminium and designed to meet Australian Standards.
We offer a complete range of aluminium ventilation louvre systems to suit different performance requirements:
The 4537 louvre features a tight blade spacing to provide enhanced screening while maintaining strong airflow performance. It is commonly used where equipment needs to be concealed without compromising ventilation. It is a single-stage horizontal louvre with tight blade spacing (42 mm pitch) designed for increased visual screening while maintaining high airflow. Ideal for façade applications and plant areas where equipment concealment is important.

The 4560 louvre offers a balanced solution between airflow and visual screening, making it suitable for a wide range of general ventilation applications. With a 54 mm blade pitch, it provides improved coverage compared to larger pitch systems while still maintaining strong airflow performance. This single-stage horizontal louvre is commonly used in plant rooms, service areas, and mechanical enclosures where a combination of ventilation efficiency and moderate screening is required without the need for weather-resistant performance.

The 90100 louvre is a vertical blade system designed to deliver effective ventilation while achieving a clean, modern architectural appearance. Its vertical blade configuration naturally directs water downward along the façade, helping to reduce rain carryover compared to traditional horizontal louvres. With a 60 mm blade pitch, it provides consistent airflow and uniform screening, making it ideal for façade applications, plant screening, and projects where design aesthetics are a key consideration.

The S45/100 louvre is a high airflow single-stage horizontal louvre designed for applications where ventilation performance is the primary requirement. Featuring a 100 mm blade pitch and a simple 45° blade profile, it allows maximum air movement with minimal resistance. This makes it a cost-effective and reliable solution for plant rooms, rooftop enclosures, and industrial ventilation openings where weather protection is not critical and airflow efficiency is the priority.

The 45100S louvre is an enhanced single-stage system designed to improve rain performance while maintaining similar airflow to standard 100 mm pitch louvres. It incorporates a deeper blade profile and sharper leading edge, which helps break up and shed wind-driven rain more effectively. This makes it well suited to exposed or windward locations where a standard single-stage louvre may allow more water carryover, but a full two-stage system is not required.

The 2S100 louvre is a two-stage horizontal system engineered to provide improved weather resistance while maintaining effective ventilation. By combining a front and rear blade stage, it creates a stepped airflow path that helps reduce rain penetration and enhances screening performance. This makes it ideal for rooftop plant enclosures, exposed façades, and mechanical areas where both airflow and protection from the elements are important design considerations.
