Aluminium Louvre Doors

ADA Louvre Systems designs and manufactures custom louvre doors for commercial, industrial and architectural applications requiring both ventilation and access.

Available in swing and bi-fold configurations, our louvre doors combine durable aluminium louvre blades with either aluminium or steel door frames. Each door is manufactured to suit the required opening, application and project specifications, making them suitable for everything from individual service access doors through to large multi-panel openings.

Our standard louvre door systems utilise ADA’s 4537 and 4560 aluminium louvre profiles, providing two established blade options that can be selected to suit the ventilation, screening and appearance requirements of the project.

Manufactured locally in Lonsdale, South Australia, ADA louvre doors can be customised in size, configuration, construction and finish to suit new construction, refurbishment and replacement projects.

Louvre Doors or Door Grilles?

A louvre door is a complete purpose-built door assembly incorporating louvre blades to provide ventilation across the door opening.

If you already have a door and simply need to introduce airflow through it, an ADA Door Grille may be the more appropriate solution. Our door grilles are designed to be incorporated into existing doors and are available in several configurations to suit different airflow and installation requirements.

Swing Louvre Doors

ADA swing louvre doors provide a practical solution where regular access and permanent ventilation are required through the same opening.

Doors can be manufactured as single or double-leaf configurations to suit the available opening and required access width. Aluminium louvre blades are securely incorporated into the door frame to create a robust, purpose-built assembly suitable for commercial and industrial environments.

Swing louvre doors are particularly suited to plant rooms, service areas, mechanical spaces and other locations where equipment or maintenance access needs to be maintained without compromising ventilation.

Bi-Fold Louvre Doors

For larger openings or locations where conventional swing doors would require excessive clearance, ADA can manufacture custom bi-fold louvre door systems.

Multiple louvred door panels fold together to provide a larger clear opening while retaining the ventilation and screening characteristics of the louvre system when closed.

Bi-fold louvre doors are well suited to transformer enclosures, plant and equipment areas, large service openings and other applications requiring wide access.

Standard Door Louvre Profiles

The 4537 and 4560 profiles are our standard aluminium louvre blade options for louvre door construction.

Both profiles can be incorporated into swing or bi-fold door configurations, with the appropriate system selected according to the project’s ventilation, weather protection, screening and design requirements.

4537

The 4537 louvre features a tight blade spacing to provide enhanced screening while maintaining strong airflow performance. It is commonly used where equipment needs to be concealed without compromising ventilation. It is a single-stage horizontal louvre with tight blade spacing (42 mm pitch) designed for increased visual screening while maintaining high airflow. Ideal for façade applications and plant areas where equipment concealment is important.

4560

The 4560 louvre offers a balanced solution between airflow and visual screening, making it suitable for a wide range of general ventilation applications. With a 54 mm blade pitch, it provides improved coverage compared to larger pitch systems while still maintaining strong airflow performance. This single-stage horizontal louvre is commonly used in plant rooms, service areas, and mechanical enclosures where a combination of ventilation efficiency and moderate screening is required without the need for weather-resistant performance.
